Jomsom Muktinath Trek is one of the busiest pilgrimage trekking package in Nepal. Muktinath which translates as Lord of Salvation is the symbol of unwavering religious tolerance in Nepal. The area is hold sacred by both Hindu and Buddhists.
Muktinath is located to the northeast of Jomsom which is the starting point of Muktinath trek. Muktinath trekking route exists as the part of Annapurna Circuit Trekking.
You will get an opportunity of guided Kathmandu City Tour before driving to Pokhara. Jomsom Muktinath Trek begins from Nayapul. We will visit Poon hill which offers best sunrise view in Pokhara. Muktinath trekking ­route continues through Tatopani to Ghasa. Walk through world’s deepest Kali Gandaki Gorge. This region is popular for availability of ammonites called Shaligram which is considered as manifestation of Lord Vishnu by Hindu devotees. Walk through Marpha- the chief apple producing area and enter Kagbeni village which allows access to Upper Mustang region before arriving at Muktinath. Take bath at 108 water sprouts and visit Vishnu temple and nearby Buddhist Stupa. Watch the eternal flame before returning to Jomsom. We will take flight from Jomsom to Pokhara before returning back to Kathmandu.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu- the city of temples. You will be picked up at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) by our representative after you complete custom and visa formalities and then you will be taken to the luxurious hotel for pleasant stay.

Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast, begin the guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples. We will take the tour of UNESCO recognized sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa and others. In the evening, you will be introduced with your trekking guide and crew members. We will also discuss about the trekking activities.  

Day03: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Leave Kathmandu early in the morning. Depending upon the group size, van, mini bus or tourist coach will be arranged. Drive through the meandering path along Trishuli River with scenic views of hills and forests. Drive through Mugling and follow Prithvi Highway till you reach Pokhara.

Day04: Drive to Nayapul Trek to Tikhe Dhunga
An hour of drive from Lakeside, Pokhara will take us to Nayapul which is the starting point of Ghorepani Poon hill trek. The route offers views of Annapurna Mountain Range. Follow Modi River for about 20minutes to reach Birethanti from where we will reach Tikhedhunga.   

Day05: Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani
Follow the escalating trail through forest of blooming rhododendron. Exiting from the forest area, move through the stone steps to arrive at Ulleri village which is inhabited by Magar ethnics. Continue walking through meadow to Nangethanti. After brief rest, reach Ghorepani from where we can enjoy views of Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, Annapurna and other mountains.

Day06: Ghorepani to Tatopani
Poon hill should not be missed if you are in Ghorepani. Poon hill is noted for offering striking views of sunrise. We will hike all the way to top of Poon hill and enjoy sunrise view and close-up views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains and then descend through Ghaja River to Tatopani.  

Day07: Tatopani to Ghasa
Chase the trail that exists above Kali Gandaki gorge. We need to traverse the bridge over Bhalu River to make it to the small village of Dana. Passing through Dana, we will move in and out of few Thakali villages before reaching Ghasa.

Day08: Ghasa to Larjung
We will leave Ghasa. We need to cross small Thakali settlements on this day. Cross gorges and rivers to reach Lete. Continue walking through scenic villages of Kalopani and Kokhethanti to Larjung. We can get close-up view of Dhaulagiri Peak on this day.

Day09: Larjung to Marpha
Leave Larjung and walk through moraines to Marpha. We need to pass through Khobang Village before reaching Marpha. We will visit Kanti Gompa before heading through Tukuche Village to Marpha which is the major apple production area.

Day10: Marpha to Kagbeni
Leaving Marpha, we will follow the ascending trail to Shyang Village. Crossing the river, we will arrive at Jomsom from where we will cross Ekle Bhatti and reach Kagbeni. 

Day11: Kagbeni to Muktinath
Leaving Kagbeni, pass through culturally rich villages of Khingar and Jharkot to reach Muktinath. Worship at Muktinath temple. 

Day12: Muktinath to Jomsom
Descend from Muktinath and continue walking through world’s deepest Kali Gandaki Gorge. Walk along Kali Gandaki River that is rich in ammonite to reach Jomsom. The route is scenic and offers views of Nilgiri Mountain from most of the point.

Day13: Jomsom to Pokhara Flight
Take an early morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. You are on your own on this day. Go for boating in Phewa Lake in evening.

Day14: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu via Prithvi highway. It takes about 5-6hrs to reach Kathmandu. You will be transferred to a hotel. Spend the rest of the day on your own. We recommend you to go for shopping in Thamel.

Day15: Departure
You will be transferred to airport about 3hrs prior to your scheduled flight. We hope to see you soon.
